How easy do you think it is to bulldoze over the Triune God and take charge of your life without realizing it? Believe it or not, it’s pretty easy to do, and it happens a lot. We can plow our way so fast and get down the road without even giving God a thought. Sometimes it seems harder to turn back to The Trinity than to keep going full speed ahead on our own.
Some say that it’s much easier to figure life out than it is to check in with God. They say it’s too much trouble to know His will. But I say that when you’ve got God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at your side, it’s no trouble, it’s a benefit of belonging to Him. Why wouldn’t you take full advantage of that?
The Father is orchestrating every detail of your life and knows you inside and out…certainly He has a perfect plan for you. And Jesus is sitting at the Father’s right hand, praying and pleading your case to Him…you have some serious clout and pull with the Son of God. Then you’ve got the Holy Spirit living within you on 24/7 call with His sleeves rolled up, ready to work on your behalf…you’ve got all you need. It’s all taken care of with the Triune God…that’s for sure!
Then why would anyone attempt life on their own? Why bulldoze and plow their way when they can simply let God lead the way? If we aren’t focused on our relationship with God, we WILL bulldoze our way without realizing it. Let’s stop, switch engines…focus on God and all that He is and has for us. It just makes good sense to me!
